Linda Marie Chous, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1987, where she was Valedictorian. She is a licensed optometrist in the states of Minnesota certified to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical medications.
Dr. Chous believes that children need special care in the diagnosing and treatment of vision problems. She is experienced in pediatric optometry, vision therapy and vision rehabilitation.
In addition to working in the office, Dr. Chous has provided vision care services to St. Paul area school districts for screening developmentally disabled children. She was also a consultant to the Sight and Hearing Association and the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services. She serves as the Chief Eye Care Officer for UnitedHealthcare and works on committees for the American Optometric Association and National Association of Vision Care Plans.
Dr. Chous is a member of the American Optometric Association and past president of the Minnesota Optometric Association.
